German cover

Four months from today The Sea Child publishes in Germany as Die Tochter der See with Atlantik Verlag, a imprint of Hoffmann und Campe.

I’m thrilled that my book has found its home in Germany with such a wonderful publisher! 🌊 I also adore the cover, it’s quite different from my US and UK covers, but shares the same colour scheme, and I love the sense of mystery and longing it conveys. It’s also very Cornwall, AND has a ship on it which as an avid fan of Patrick O’Brian’s early 1800s Navy series, makes me so happy! Last but certainly not least… sprayed edges 🩵🩵🩵 What more could a debut author ask for? Here’s a bigger version of the cover. I hope you like it as much as I do, and I can’t wait for German readers to meet Isabel and read about her adventures!
