Cover reveal

From the depths of the ocean, the tides call her name... I’m so excited to share the US and UK covers of my debut novel THE SEA CHILD with you. I couldn’t be happier! I feel both covers perfectly capture the sense of mystery, romance and magic at the heart of Isabel’s story.

Please see below for the equally gorgeous US cover! One of the things I think is quite interesting about these covers is that often, US and UK book covers for the same book are very different, but in the case of The Sea Child, they have a similar vibe, conveying a sense of mystery and magic. As my UK editor said, they share DNA and yet are very much their own thing. I absolutely love them!

Set in early 1800s Cornwall, England, The Sea Child is the story of Isabel, who washed up on the Cornish coast as a small child, dripping wet and unable to speak, and her quest to find out more about her mysterious origins, as the local population believes her to be the child of a sea spirit, the Bucca… along the way, Isabel encounters adventure, mystery, magic and a certain irresistible smuggler!

I really hope you’ll like these covers as much as I do! Please consider placing a pre-order. I’d appreciate it so much, thank you! ❤️

The Sea Child is out with Ballantine, Penguin Random House in Jan. 2026 and with Simon & Schuster UK in Feb. 2026. If you’d like to place a pre-order (yes, please!), I’ve added the links for the US and US Amazon below. Thank you! 🩵
